Digital Crossroads Data Center is a mission critical data center campus currently under construction at the site of the former State Line Generating Facility, situated on the Lake Michigan shoreline at the Illinois/Indiana border, 12 miles from downtown Chicago. The asset is set to be a high-capacity, energy-efficient, state-of-the-art data center campus. The Digital Crossroads Data Center consists of a multi-phased development plan including an estimated power capacity of up to 40MW. The project will be tied into an adjacent fiber network with a direct connection into the Chicago downtown area and further optional connectivity to other hubs. The data center will offer competitive leasing economics due to its strategic location, tax incentives, and energy efficiency. The project is under construction and is expected to open in the first half of 2020.
