William Edwards joined Tikehau Capital in August 2023, as Chief Compliance Officer and Associate Counsel of North America. Previously, Mr. Edwards served as a Senior Managing Director at Teneo, the global consultancy. He joined Teneo following its acquisition of Goldin Associates, a boutique financial advisory firm. At both Teneo and Goldin Associates, Mr. Edwards advised investment advisors and other financial firms on a range of compliance, risk and governance issues.
Prior to joining Goldin Associates, Mr. Edwards served as a Senior Attorney in the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Mr. Edwards began his career as a litigator at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen and Katz.
Mr. Edwards holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Harvard College, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Harvard Law School, where he served as a member of the Harvard Law Review.
