Jackson Murley joined Tikehau Capital in 20 23 as Associate General Counsel for Tikehau Capital North America. Prior to this, he worked at Shearman & Sterling LLP where he was a member of the Project Development & Finance group. Mr. Murley’s practice at Shearman focused on complex financings, projects and acquisition matters in the infrastructure and energy sectors across the U.S. and internationally. Mr. Murley advised a diverse body of clients comprised of corporations, insurance companies, funds, commercial and development banks, other financial institutions and public institutions (including the U.S. Department of Transportation, U.S. Department of Energy and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency) on a wide range of transactions in the energy and infrastructure sectors (including energy generation and transmission, transportation, water and telecommunications).
Mr. Murley has significant experience advising on public-private partnership transactions, including the Purple Line Light Rail Project. From November 2021 to July 2022, Mr. Murley was a secondee at Tikehau Star Infra and Tikehau Capital North America. During this period, he worked on a variety of transactions and other matters across Tikehau Star Infra’s investment pipeline and portfolio. Mr. Murley previously worked for the New York University Office of General Counsel and NERA Economic Consulting.
Mr. Murley holds a Bachelor of Arts (A.B.) in Economics, magna cum laude, from Princeton University and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from New York University School of Law.
