Gregory Davis is the Labor Liaison, Senior Advisor to Tikehau Star Infra (“TSI”). TSI retained Mr. Davis in November 2020 as its labor liaison, and he is tasked with the implementation of TSI’s Responsible Contractor Program. This includes ensuring compliance with the program, education of TSI staff and portfolio companies, providing guidance as to labor issues and input where project labor agreements would be in use and general strategies to promote trained labor.
Prior to joining TSI, Mr. Davis retired from the Laborers’ International Union after 30 plus years in the construction industry. He originally joined the International Union staff to assist in the development of the Union’s first Organizing Department. Over time he has held various positions and titles throughout the organization. Mr. Davis last served in the dual role as Director of the Construction Department and as Executive Director in the Office of the General President with oversight over the Organizing and Corporate Affairs Departments. He also chaired the Internationals Energy Task Force and various other committees.
Mr. Davis worked extensively with contractors, project owners and fellow building trades unions; including managing LIUNA’s role in negotiating and administering national collective bargaining agreements, handling jurisdiction and industry issues. He has spearheaded successful industry partnerships and member advocacy campaigns that have helped win approvals for important infrastructure projects from lock and dam projects, roads and bridges to major pipeline and energy projects.
In addition, Mr. Davis served as Chairman of the Stack and Chimney LMCT and Executive Director of the National Heavy Highway Coalition. He also represents the International on multiple committees and organizations that support the industry.
