52-year concession agreement for the design, construction, financing, operation, and maintenance of 10.3 miles of managed toll lanes inside the right of way of Texas State Highway 288. When completed, the project will improve mobility south of Houston and alleviate congestion along a busy corridor. The State Highway 288 expansion is a 10.3-mile roadway improvement south of downtown Houston and will include three major interchanges: Beltway 8, which will include eight direct connector/ramp bridges; Loop 610, which will include eight direct connector/ramp bridges; and The Texas Medical Center, which will include two direct connector/ramp bridges. Construction began in Fall 2016 and is expected to last until early 2020.
